The brief for this project was to conduct research into the target market of 17-25 year olds & then design a road safety billboard that will engage & deter this audience from using their phone while driving.
From my research, consisting of 240 people within the target audience, I found that most people are distracted by music apps on their phone. I used this information to design an engaging, eye-catching, yet simple & succinct graphic. I had never used 3D modelling software before this project & I spent an entire day learning how to use Blender to complete this project, which was done within a week.
This design was chosen as the winning Re:Act 2024 Road Safety Campaign in SA & was displayed on Ooh! billboards all over Adelaide throughout the whole of September 2024!
